Menu item highlight incorrect on IE7

Reported by Darryl Fuller | September 22nd, 2008 @ 09:06 AM | in REL 0.9.21

When you mouse over a menu item on IE7 in SproutCore 0.9.17, the highlight renders incorrectly. There is a gap between the bottom border of the highlight and the highlight background. It looks pretty bad.

This artifact is due to the menu item inner spans being styled as display:block. The inner span renders taller than the highlight background on IE7 in this case.

Setting the display to "inline" for msie seems to work around the problem, though I hardly recommend as the correct fix...

.msie .menu .button.regular.menu-item a span.inner { display:inline;}
